- Within the EU

(Private customers)
Bikepart follows the EU's regulations for e-commerce. All prices include VAT according to
The EU's guidelines and the total price at checkout include shipping but not any possible
billing fee.

(Corporate Customers)
Corporate customers are subject to applicable laws for trade between companies within
EU. Orders are sent in accordance with EU trade regulations. The price is stated
excluding VAT unless otherwise stated and the total price at checkout includes shipping
but not any possible billing cost. Business customers are responsible for any
import VAT and customs duties within its country.

- Outside the EU

(Private customers)
Bikepart follows the international regulations regarding e-commerce between businesses in the EU
to private individuals outside the EU. Prices are shown excluding VAT unless otherwise stated and
the total price at checkout includes shipping but not any invoicing fee.
Private customers are responsible for any import tax and customs duties within their
land.

(Corporate Customers)
Corporate customers are subject to applicable international trade laws between
company. Orders are sent in accordance with international trade regulations.

including shipping but not any invoicing cost. Business customers are responsible
for any import VAT and customs duties within their country.

Shopify Payments

Credit check: When paying via Shopify Payments, a credit check may be conducted depending on the chosen payment method.

Payment terms: Payment is charged immediately at the time of purchase, unless otherwise stated when selecting the payment method. For card payments or direct payments, the transaction is processed immediately, while invoice and installment options may have separate payment terms.

Transaction Management: Shopify Payments is a payment solution that enables secure payments with cards, digital wallets, and other accepted payment options. Payments are processed through Shopify's partners and banks.

GDPR & Personal Data: When paying via Shopify Payments, your payment information is processed and stored in accordance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR). Shopify Payments and its third-party providers are responsible for protecting the customer's payment information in accordance with their data protection policies. Order & Order Confirmation

A valid email address is required to place an order. Once your order is received, an order confirmation will be sent via email. Save this email for future reference.

If you do not receive an order confirmation, contact us here!

Important!
Make sure to provide correct contact details. Incorrect phone number or
email may result in you not receiving order confirmations or delivery notices
which can lead to undelivered packages. Read more under "Undelivered packages" in the shipping terms.

No sales to minors 

Bikepart does not sell products to individuals who are under 18 years old as it violates general guidelines regarding distance selling.

Fake orders 

All false orders or attempts at fraud will be reported to the police. We fully cooperate with the police during investigations.

Response time via the contact form is usually within 48 hours on weekdays. 

Personal data 

What information do we collect?
We only process the information necessary to manage your order:

  • Registration number – we may ask for your registration number to ensure that the part fits your vehicle.
  • Email & phone number – to contact you with questions about your order or regarding Swish payment, as well as to ensure you can receive order confirmations and delivery confirmations.
  • Address details – to deliver your order.

The processing is based on our agreement with you as a customer. If you have consented to certain processing of your data, you can withdraw this at any time by contacting us.

Storage of payment information

Bikepart does not store personal or credit card numbers. These are only handled by our payment partner Shopify Payments.

Sharing of information

We do not share your information with third parties and comply with applicable laws regarding
data protection.

Storage and disposal 

We store your personal data as long as the customer relationship lasts and thereafter in accordance with applicable laws and practices. 

Your rights as a registered user 

When the company collects and processes your personal data, you have certain rights.

You have the right to: 

  • Request an extract of the personal data the company processes and how it is processed; 
  • Request correction of any incorrect information; 
  • Request to be deleted. However, this can only be carried out provided that the company does not have the right to retain the data on any other legal basis; 
  • Request that the processing be restricted under certain circumstances, e.g. while a question about whether the data is correct or not is being investigated; and 
  • When the data protection regulation comes into effect, exercise the right to data portability. 

Freight Company & Delivery

Depending on the destination and the size and weight of the package, your shipment may be sent with different carriers. An email will be sent with your tracking number shortly after we have processed your order. If your tracking number has not arrived within a few hours, you are welcome to contact us here!

Delivery is made either to the nearest pickup point or parcel locker, where identification via app or Bank-ID may be required. In some cases, home delivery or pickup at terminal may be offered depending on the size and weight of the package.

Shipping cost

The shipping cost depends on destination, package size,
weight, and chosen delivery method
. The exact cost is displayed at checkout before you
complete your order.

Right of withdrawal/return 

Depending on whether you are a private consumer or a business operator within or outside Sweden's borders, different rules regarding the right of withdrawal apply, where we follow the respective applicable legislation for distance purchases.

To make a return and have your case processed as smoothly as possible, fill out our return form and include the return slip in the package. The return must be sent within 14 days of receipt.

The right of withdrawal applies only if the item is in substantially unchanged condition. The product must be well packaged in a box with inner packaging. Shipping costs are not refunded, except in the case of incorrect, defective, or incorrectly delivered goods. 

Through our return portal, you get more options on how you want to return your item. If you return without our return label, pack the product well to avoid transport damage. Send the package as a business package directly to our address. If we have to pick it up at an agent, a fee of 199 SEK will be added.  

Receipt or copy of invoice must always be enclosed.

  • Sealed item that has been broken 
  • Special ordered/customized item according to customer's request 
  • Items that due to their nature cannot be returned 
  • Items that have been disassembled or where external damage has occurred 
  • Items that have been installed

Defective item/Warranty 

Most motorcycle parts are quality controlled but sold as is. Bikepart is not responsible for wear parts that may be included, such as tension rollers, belts, water pumps, spark plugs, or brake pads.

Bikepart is not responsible for errors caused by incorrect installation. The motorcycle part must be installed according to the manufacturer's recommendations in a professional manner. Certain repairs require that wear parts be replaced at the same time – you are responsible for checking this with the manufacturer.

In case of uncertainty regarding the installation or replacement of wear parts, contact an authorized workshop or the motorcycle manufacturer. Bikepart is not responsible for errors caused by accidents, neglect, or similar after delivery.

The complaint period is 30 days from the day of delivery. 

Claims must be reported as soon as possible via Return / Claim, before any possible remedial action is initiated. Bikepart determines in each individual case which action may be relevant, e.g. replacement or price reduction. Installation costs are not reimbursed when purchasing a defective or incorrectly delivered item. However, the customer must be able to prove that the part was broken/defective upon receipt. 

Delivery not possible 

If for some reason we are unable to deliver your order, a refund will be issued to you as soon as possible. We will contact you if this is the case.

Unclaimed packages 

It is important that you track your delivery and pick up your package on time. If a shipment cannot be delivered, for example if the package remains at the pickup point for too long, no one is present for home delivery, or if the address details are incorrect, the package may be returned to Bikepart. In such cases, additional costs for return shipping or a new delivery may apply.

To avoid problems, make sure to provide correct
contact details and address when ordering and keep an eye out for notifications
from the shipping company.

Safety 

We take technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or deletion. Only authorized personnel with confidentiality agreements have access to this information.

Other 

The company's websites may contain various blogs, forums, wikis, and other social media applications or services that allow you to share content with other users (collectively "Social Media Applications"). Any personal data or other information that you contribute to any Social Media Application may be read, collected, and used by other users of that Social Media Application, over which we have little or no control. Therefore, we take no responsibility for any other user's use.
or misuse of information that you have contributed to any social media application. 

Force Majeure 

In the event of war, natural disaster, labor market actions, government decisions, failure of deliveries from subcontractors, cost-increasing circumstances, as well as comparable events outside the seller's control that could not reasonably have been foreseen and affect entered agreements and commitments, which prevent the seller from fulfilling the mentioned agreements/commitments, shall constitute grounds for the seller to be relieved from their obligations to fulfill the mentioned agreements.
